Eyes and Mouth

Cut two round pieces of red felt and then use white thread for the sparkles/pupils in the corner of the eyes.

Then sew eyes onto body with red sewing thread.

Cut one mouth out of red felt and sew onto the body under and in between where eyes were sewed on.

You may use whatever you’d like for the eyes and mouth to make it your own unique looking Jumpluff. It's fun to hang from the ceiling or the wall with fishing line so it looks like it's floating too.

You’re finished :D

Soot Sprites

Abbreviations- sc (single crochet), st (stitch), sts (stitches), sc dec (single crochet decrease), F/O (finish off)
Crochet Hook Size- G or H
Finished Measurements with using G hook- approximately 2 inches tall using the G hook and 2 ½ inches tall using the H hook.
Materials needed: “Fun Fur” by Lion Brand (Black). White felt for eyes. Clear or white thread for sewing on eyes, black thread for pupils of the eyes. Scissors.

(Important note before you start crocheting: this yarn is very very difficult to use as far as knowing where your stitches are, so pay close attention)

Using the Magic Ring Method add 6 sc into the circle.
R1: 2 sc in each st (12)
R2-4: sc in all sts (12)
R5: sc dec 6 times (6)
Stuff the Soot Sprite and then sc dec until the hole is closed off. F/O
Weave in all ends with the yarn needle or crochet hook.

Eyes

1) Cut out two white oval pieces.
2) Use white thread to sew white ovals to body. (just one time through the oval and body should hold the eye on securely). Then make sure you knot the white thread behind one of the eyes after sewing, then pull the thread through the body and cut from the needle.
3) Use the black thread to sew the pupils on where you want them. I went over the same spot twice for each pupil. You can also use a sharpie if you’d like, although sharpie doesn't mark felt well.

After you're all done with the eyes, cut the fuzziness down to about 1/4 of an inch. Then it will have sort fuzziness all over. Or cut the fuzziness down first to make it easier for sewing the eyes on. Your choice.  :)

You’re finished!

F/O   Whip stitch or sew two tails together for a stronger, stiffer tail if desired.

Ok, so you should have your main body, two arms, two ears, and a tail. Go ahead and cut out two red felt ovals or circles for pikachu’s cheeks and two light brown stripes for the back. Sew these felt pieces on first. Then stuff the arms and ears and sew on all of the parts in the appropriate places.

As for the eyes, nose and mouth, I’ll explain what I did. For the eyes I bought safety plastic eyes from my local Joann’s fabrics store.
For the nose I took a 5” piece of black yarn and weaved it through the head where I wanted the nose to be and tied it, then hid the yarn ends inside the head.
For the mouth I used black sewing thread to form a triangular teddy bear mouth. I think it’s cute.

You can use whatever methods you like, such as using felt, yarn or buttons for the eyes. Same goes with the nose and mouth.

You're Finished   :D
